Hi! I’m Jess and one of my earliest memories as a child is standing in the kitchen with my Mum and sister licking out the mixing bowl after a baking session. As a mother of two and doctor, baking has always provided me with a creative outlet. The Whimsical Baker came into being in 2018 and has slowly evolved to become what it is today…a supplier of delicious and beautiful cakes and treats with an elegant modern twist.
Here at The Whimsical Baker we believe that a beautifully custom-made baked treat should elevate and compliment your special occasion. We specialise in using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and work with you to make your vision a delicious reality, be it a wedding cake, celebration cake, cupcakes, macarons or cookies.
Every order is an individual creation based upon our clients’ visions as well as the seasonal produce available and the natural beauties of the region. The Hinterland provides so much baking inspiration!
Our celebration cakes are elegant and contemporary with a whimsical flair while our iced cookies are true works of edible art. Our delicious flavour menu draws inspiration from native Australian produce and the flora of The Hinterland.

All quotes valid for 14 days and all orders valued at >$90AUD require a 50% deposit to secure the booking. Balance due 14 days prior to the event.
All wedding orders will require a contract to be signed upon booking the order.
